Student makers share how college makerspaces transformed their educational experiences. The CCC Maker $17 million grant enabled 24 CA Community Colleges to impact 47,961 students, involve 523 faculty, fund 637 internships, develop 410 courses and recruit 1149 employers in less than three years.

Carol Pepper-Kittredge, Sierra College Associate Dean of Workforce Innovation and Statewide Project Director, CCC Maker. She is an avid seamstress, knitter, carpenter and maker. Carol has over 25 years of community college as well as economic and community development experience.
