What inspired you to make this project?:
I have a thing for the perfection of spherical shapes and I wanted to build one to drive around on the desert like a futuristic hacked together combat vehicle. This obsession extended to creating fire zoetropes from spheres as well, Mini-Spinny is a small portable one I've wanted to do for years. The other pieces you see here are examples of other aesthetic ideas I've tried out, some from client commissions and some just forms I found interesting as a sculptor, usually working with salvaged materials.
