Students from Ohlone College are presenting Augmented Reality experiences and Virtual Reality games that are connected to IoT devices. Players control the real world within the virtual world.

Alejandro Jauco Maker Picture

Alejandro Jauco

Prof. Jauco brings his extensive background in the tech industry to his class. His credentials include architect and managerial positions at Infor, NVIDIA and Sun Microsystems. His interests are game development and the Internet of Things.

David Folker Maker Picture

David Folker

Prof. Folker is a designer, artists and an amateur entomologist. His artistic work includes large scale wooden sculptures, carved by using chainsaw, dremel and chisel. He has been teaching 3D modeling and animation at Ohlone College since 2009.

Rose-Margaret Itua Maker Picture

Rose-Margaret Itua

Dr. Itua is a Professor of Engineering at Ohlone College. She has been internationally recognized by UNESCO, BBC, the IEEE for her contributions towards youth empowerment and equity for African Americans and Females in STEM education and Careers.
