Learn how to make a Dobsonian Telescope- how to grind glass to make the primary mirror for a Newtonian telescope. We'll also be sharing views of the sun safely through solar telescopes.
Douglas Smith
Douglas Smith is a BIM Manager at Woods Bagot. He has a wide range of hobbies including home brewing and abstract photography and graphics. He also teaches the Dobsonian Telescope Making class at the Randall Museum in San Francisco.
George Teiber
George is a retired architect. He has built 3 telescopes ranging from a travel scope to well crafted wood detailed scopes. He has assisted with the Dobsonian Telescope Making class and has been interested in Astronomy for many years.
Peter Schumacher
Peter Schumacher is a current beekeeper and former IT career person. He started his involvement with the stars & outer space in general by being an avid reader of science fiction and has been into astronomy & telescope making for the past 19 years.
David Frey
