Early photography was limited to only the every wealthy, the top 2-5 percent of the population. Wet Plate or commonly called "Tintype Photography" changed that and opened the photography process to all. Hand colored Black & White Tintype.
Prof. Morton became interested with Tintype Photography 30 years ago while attending a Civil War Reenactment. John Coffer, who rediscovered the Tintype Process, was shooting Tintypes and shared the process with any that were interested.
