Our books, which are about people building their own homes, are laid out by hand, using a photocopier, scissors and scotch tape, before being entered into a computer for printing.

We are Shelter Publications, We make our books by hand. Our books are about people who build their own homes. Our last books were Tiny Homes and Tiny Homes on the Move. Our newest book is Driftwood Shacks: Anonymous Architecture Along the CA Coast.
