Why the Future Calls for Makers
World Maker Faire New York 2018
September 22nd-23rd
Whether it's the uncertain future of work, the increasing cost of higher education, or the pace of technological change, there is a growing need for a sustainable Maker Movement that inspires more people to be makers, not just consumers. The Maker Movement is about investing in people, and their growth and development. Makers are self-directed learners. Makers are productive. They can solve tough problems. They are willing to take the creative risks that lead to innovation. Makers are called to create a human-centered future.
