Bayley Wang studied electrical engineering at MIT. He founded oneTesla in 2012, a company that designs DIY musical Tesla coil kits. He loves potatoes.
oneTesla designs DIY Tesla coil kits that shoot lightning, play music, and teach electronics. Started at an MIT hackerspace and funded by Kickstarter, oneTesla has been sparking interest in physics worldwide since 2012.
What inspired you to make this project?:
While tinkering at MIT's electronic research society, Bayley Wang decided it would be fun to build a Tesla coil. Heidi Baumgartner came up with the idea of making it into a kit. The rest is history!
