Burlap & Barrel: Single Origin Spices

Burlap & Barrel is a new kind of spice company. We're an activist enterprise, partnering directly with artisan spice farmers in a dozen countries to bring you the freshest and most flavorful spices anywhere.

What inspired you to make this project?:
As a former chef, I appreciate incredible ingredients grown by innovative, creative farmers, and as a former aid worker, I appreciate the impact that additional income can have on small farming communities around the world. Burlap & Barrel grew out of the need for faster, fairer supply chains to connect smallholder spice farmers around the world with cooks in the US who care about where and how their food is grown.
