We will be blending circuit building and programming with paper craft and art-making using the Chibi Chip programmable clip microcontroller, part of the new Love to Code kit from Chibitronics. Take your paper circuits to the next level! All materials will be provided.

Jie Qi

Jie Qi is cofounder and creative director of Chibitronics, which makes hardware kits that blend paper craft, circuit building, and programming. She is also a Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at the Harvard Law school, where she investigates open approaches to innovation and entrepreneurship. Jie holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Columbia University and a MS and PhD in media arts and sciences from the MIT Media Lab, from the High-Low Tech group and Responsive Environments group. Her research investigates new materials and techniques for blending electronics with traditional arts and crafts as a new medium to create expressive and personally meaningful technology.
