How to Become a Craftivist - Sewing Stitchable Changemakers

Maker Faire Bay Area 2018

May 18th-20th

Presentation Craft

Choose a letterpress printed card of one of five changemakers throughout history. Dot by dot, stitch by stitch as you reveal the face of your chosen changemaker, reflect on the values threaded through them and their lives, the context they lived in and how they made positive change using their talents and hard work. Then, whilst stitching encourage yourself to think about your context, circle of influence, talents and how you can connect the values threaded through you to your daily actions and decisions. All resources made and sourced ethically in the UK.
