Edward Haas
Steamboat Ed Haas has been a machinist and a maker all his life. He's worked on art cars, die bonders, trikes, quadcycles and of course steam boats! He has a machine shop in Santa Rosa, CA and pens the weekly Sebastopol Makers newsletter.

Mark was mixing chemicals, building DC motors, Crystal Radios & flying rockets in the 60s. After 25 years at Dave and Bill's electronics Co. he went his own way in '02. Now he's returned to un-disciplined experimenting, inspired by his maker pals.
Richard Castagnola
Richard Castagnola has been a machinist for 40 years. He's a student of steam engine history and knows all about valve gear design. Richard also bakes and he has amassed recipes for hundreds of cheesecakes. Richard crews on the steam launch Pegasus.
Mark Jackson
Mark Jackson is a sculptor and maker of 3D printers, molding and casting machines and CNC contraptions.

Kris is heavily into robotics. She designed the Makee robot. Until last year she was in charge of certifying carnival ride robots safe for humans. Nowadays she's building components for surgical robotics.
