Sonoma Tintype uses Fredrick Scott Archer's original formula from 1850, to show the process of making one of the first practical forms of photography. All of our equipment, cameras and "portable photo booth" date back to 1850-1860's.

Bruce Morton

Prof. Morton became interested with Tintype Photography 30 years ago while attending a Civil War Reenactment. John Coffer, who rediscovered the Tintype Process, was shooting Tintypes and shared the process with any that were interested.
