Sue Hansen and family have been folding paper in new and traditional ways for over 20 years. From Raleigh, NC, they have demonstrated simple origami from California, to Iowa, to New York City.
Traditional and original paperfolding is used to create mobiles, jewelry, boxes, purses, notecards and other fun items. Recyled paper is often used to create unique projects.
What inspired you to make this project?:
We were inspired to create beautiful, inexpensive, handcrafted items that are affordable for families. Our products have been purchased for resale in museum shops and other retail stores, which typically double or triple the price that we offer at Makers Faire. Paper folding seems to fascinate young and old. It is great fun to share techniques, reuse paper and help beginning folders achieve success!
