Illumiglo -A phone case with portable lighting for better selfies. Problem / Inspiration: Low-quality lighting for selfies and regular photos. My idea is a phone case with a light that gives a better glow when taking selfies and regular photos. Compact and with the phone at all times. Bad lighting can cause blurry or unflattering pictures. Having an expanding and contracting lighting system will illuminate the object of the picture and make close up photos look better.

The Young Makers program brings together a community of young people with mentors and a space to make. In small clubs, participants work together to design and make a youth-chosen, open-ended project which they showcase at Maker Faire!
