Pulse is an anatomically-correct heart, beating fire through its 4 chambers to emulate blood flow through the human heart. Using biosensors, participants can synchronize the flame effects with their own heartbeat or trigger fire bursts with buttons.
Flaming Lotus Girls
Flaming Lotus Girls is a volunteer, mostly female, do-ocracy of artists who create interactive, large-scale, kinetic fire sculptures out of San Francisco, CA. Our work stands at the intersection of sculpture, robotics, pyrotechnics, and electronics.
