Microbes live everywhere on our bodies, with trillions found in our gut. They help our digestion, immunity, and even affect our mood and cognitive function. Using images and scientific studies, Karen Diggs will teach you how to bring more good gut bugs into your life through yummy fermented foods.

Karen Diggs

Karen is a classically trained chef, nutritionist, culinary instructor, and author of Happy Foods: Over 100 Mood-Boosting Recipes. She studied at the former California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, and obtained her certification in holistic nutrition from Bauman College. Thanks to her time at Bauman, Karen got hooked on fermenting, and that eventually led to her founding of Kraut Source.
