Mark Gibson is a longtime restorer and collector of pinball machines who wants to share the creativity and ingenuity of the original game designers, and use their craft to foster an interest in science, technology and how things work.
Fun With Pinball is a hands on, interactive exhibit to foster your curiosity, built from retired pinball machine parts.
What inspired you to make this project?:
I am inspired by the creativity and ingenuity of the designs hidden within pinball machines. I take great joy in sharing them with others and especially with those who are curious enough to want to learn more. The exhibit is evolving into a teaching tool where I hope to convey that science and technology can be approachable and fun and that physical phenomenon can be explained and demonstrated simply.
