Making Tools for a Future Fab Lab

Zach Dunham is an outreach lead for Kickstarter’s design and technology communities. He works closely with project creators to help them plan, prepare, and manage campaigns. Zach is also a creative technologist, with a focus on acoustics; the co-creator of The Public Radio; and an alumni of the School For Poetic Computation.

Teja is computer scientist with a little design background. He worked for a long time as software developer in several startups before founding Mr Beam Lasers UG. A fascination with downsizing and simplifying laser technology led him to create Mr Beam II - a complete, ready to use laser cutter for the desktop.

Before founding Mayku, Alex lead the strategy team at startup studio Mint Digital. In that role he developed multiple online platforms for clients such as the Cabinet Office and helped launch several startups, both for clients and in-house. Alex graduated from Goldsmiths university with a first in design & innovation.

A mechanical engineer by training, Nisan co-founded WAZER in order to bring waterjet cutting to the maker community. Before that he designed camping gear at BioLite and built racecars with the WAZER crew at UPenn. Nisan also participated in the 2006 Punkin Chunkin, launching a 4-pound pumpkin 531 feet from his giant trebuchet.
