As The Hacktory's Director, she's lead the organization to be named "Best of Philly" for adult classes, won numerous grants, and written about the gender gap in STEM for Make:Magazine and other publications. Georgia continues to grow The Hacktory as a hub of creativity, a resource for educators, and a leader as an inclusive and diverse makerspace.
Learn about simple machines like levers and pulleys by building your own mechanical claw. Use it to extend your reach, impress your friends, or torture siblings. Good for all ages, makers 12 and under should be accompanied by a grown up. Presented by The Hacktory. Cash or credit card accepted.
