The Maker Certificate Program at Sonoma State University in partnership with the Sonoma County Office of Education provides unique professional development opportunities for educators interested in making in K-12 settings.
Dan Blake
As Director of Innovation & Partnerships, Dan Blake leads the Sonoma County Office of Education’s efforts to promote 21st Century Teaching and Learning in local schools. He also serves as the Program Coordinator for the Maker Certificate Program.

Casey Shea
A math teacher for many years, Casey Shea coordinated closely with Dale Dougherty and Maker Media in 2011-12 to create the first ever Project: Make class at Analy High School in Sebastopol, CA. His program has become a model for maker education.
Matt O'Donnell
Matt O'Donnell is the Technology Innovation Specialist for the Sonoma County Office of Education, where he works directly with administrators, teachers, and students to build capacity for 21st century teaching and learning.
