Making a Movement Infrastructure

Making a Movement Infrastructure

An exhibition and performance within the icosahedron, a human scale structure made of 3D printed parts and PVC pipes. The "movement infrastructure" a system for fitness practices, integrating the human body with geometric configurations.

What inspired you to make this project?:
I started research on human movement and geometry for my doctoral study. While working on the literature review I explored in depth the theory of movement by Rudolf Laban and envisioned applications of contemporary technologies to some of his concepts. The development of the "movement infrastructure" is a way to popularize the use of the icosahedron which was mainly known in the field of dance
