A spinning wheel has all the sculptural potential of a potters wheel. With modern materials, I spin saturated color into the strand, just where I want it to go, creating yarn very different from what is found in a knit shop. Come see how it works!
Anna Upston
Trained as an opera singer, Anna began Maupston Design Studio in 2006 . Her first permanent location launches in September, 2015 within Etui Fiber Arts in Larchmont, NY. She happily teaches spinning, sells handspun yarn, and creates textile art.
