This session will introduce an emerging framework for intentional planning and development of makerspaces in museum and library settings to help organizations make informed investments that support community making.
Since 2007, Tim Carrigan has held positions of progressive responsibility at the Institute of Museum and Library Services, a federal grantmaking agency whose mission is to inspire libraries and museums to advance innovation, lifelong learning, and cultural/civic engagement. He currently serves as a senior program officer whose portfolio focuses on learning in libraries.
