The San Francisco Model Yacht Club will teach the skills of operating R/C sailboats and powerboats. You'll learn how a sailboat works, then we'll have some races. We also have R/C freighters for your kids to sail in the "Battles of the Atlantic".
Bob Heacock
The San Francisco Model Yacht Club is the oldest model yacht club in the country. We sail R/C sailboats and powerboats at Spreckels Lake in Golden Gate Park. Former Commodore Bob Heacock has been building and sailing R/C boats for over 40 years.
