“ApeLab”: a mobile FabLab for social innovation

"ApeLab" is a mobile FabLab, a small traveling experimental laboratory designed for social innovation. It facilitates both formal and informal learning processes, creative and innovative co-design, and empowerment for its participants. ApeLab brings FabLab equipment to the community, allowing people to experiment with 3D printing, laser cutting, milling, vinyl cutting, and more, all presented in an accessible language.

We are a FabLab that was established almost simultaneously with ApeLab, within the university. Fortunately, we have a wide range of internal skills and expertise, all different from each other. This diversity is our strength. Our team consists of individuals from various educational backgrounds, all united by a passion for making and innovation. Together, we have built numerous projects, leveraging our diverse skill sets to create unique and impactful solutions. Our journey as makers is driven by a collaborative spirit and a commitment to sharing knowledge and technology with the community.
