Hong Kong STEAM Project Showcase: Smart Home IoT

"STEAM" is the combination of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. This is a Smart Home IoT Project we learned and built in STEAM lessons. We used Blynk as a cloud data storage platform and micro:bit as a controller. The system can be synchronized to form an smart home application demo. STEAM education make us familiar with the development of technologies nowadays.

I am a teacher supervising this team. In the past, I supervised other teams. I also teacher computer in school with Arduino and micro:bit be a part of the curriculum. Other projects I guided students to do: "Quick Escape" (a fire alarm system helping deaf people to escape from the fire) , "Fit for you" (an application using AI to enhance health, entertainment and social interaction). In Hong Kong, we encourage to do invention to solve daily-life problems.
