Maker Faire Austin 2007
Ralph White
Acoustic Stage , Saturday 2:30 PM - 3:20 PM
Banjos, kalimba and mbiras, accordion, and singing: this artist makes no attempt to process or arrange his material. Although he plays the banjo, his style has more to do pre-bluegrass, southern Appalachian "claw-hammer" playing, where the whole fist is used, sort of like a claw, rather than the popular style of finger-picking the strings.
