About the Maker(s)
Fritz Grobe and Stephen Voltz Fritz Grobe and Stephen Voltz are the mad scientists behind EepyBird.com. Fritz, the short, bearded guy, is also a professional juggler. Stephen, the tall, bald guy, is also a lawyer. Both these skills have proven useful in managing EepyBird insanity! Stephen Voltz started out as a street performer, juggling and swallowing fire on the streets of San Francisco. He then changed direction, went to NYU Law School and practice law outside of Boston for 20 years. In 1999 he discovered the Celebration Barn (celebrationbarn.com) in South Paris, Maine and began studying performing there while continuing to practice law. At the Celebration Barn he met Fritz Grobe, a comedic performer and 5 time gold medal winning juggler. In 2006 Fritz and Stephen created "Experiment #137: The Extreme Diet Coke and Mentos Experiments" which became a viral video sensation. They've been on Late Night With David Letterman, The Today Show, Inside Edition, All Things Considered, and Ellen, among others, People Magazine named them "Best of 2006", and they've now performed their Diet Coke and Mentos madness in places as far flung as Belgium, Holland and Istanbul.
