Hebron Crushing Machine

Topic(s): Arts | Green

Tags: recycling wood plastic glass metal paper wires

For many years, this group of artists has worked with recycled materials to turn them into art. A heavy-duty machine they created can crush any material: paper, aluminum, steel, plastic, glass, dirt, and much more. All are transformed into a beautiful brick ready to use to sculpt into art. The material made by this machine was used for Keep Austin Beautiful awards for 2007. Come by to see the machine that can recycle just about anything.

About the Maker(s)

George Sabra
I am an artist who likes to work from the natural of the environment. I make art from recycled materials because I believe that part from the message of art is to fit inside the environment where we are. I work to find different ways to use recycled materials for my art. An artist should be able to make art from anything and that is what I do. I make art from anything.
