Lori 16MM Varga Lori 16MM Varga is a Texas-based visual artist and veteran analog, verite filmmaker. In the past she was the film projectionist for acts such as the Butthole Surfers, ST37, Gorch Fock, and the Austin Psych Festival. Lori studies most subcultures and enjoys media hacking. Lori likes to reuse discarded media and film materials by turning it into projected experimental art. She turns outdated educational films into themed collage art. It is often set to circuit-bent music or wondrously orchestrated, difficult sound effects and eight-track recorder mag loops. She has also produced seven fine art shorts or collage films in 16mm and super 8mm format.
