About the Maker(s)

Corey Fogel Corey Fogel is a Oakland-based musician who plays drums, composes, and improvises in many musical and performance art capacities. As a soloist he creates long, surreal narratives of unorthodox sounds and awkward, vaguely familiar motions which accompany dance, film and other media. He also choreographs visual and gestural installations. Most of his creations rely heavily on improvisation within a framework that is born out of unpredictable encounters with materials, instruments, circumstances, personas, and general aesthetic interests.
