Livid Instruments Since its conception, the collaboration known as Livid Instruments has had its creations featured in many articles, interviews, and is well know in the VJ universe. Travis Redding (instrument designer/inventor), Jay Smith (Wired magazine dubbed "video god"/inventor), and Pete Nyboer (software developer/inventor) joined forces to create real and experimental instruments for live video performance.
