Student Parallel Computing Projects: Lots of Clusters
One 10-node and four 5-node diskless clusters constructed by TSTC Computer Networking students will be used in TSTC labs to teach students the principles of parallel computing. Just pop in a live cluster distro disc (there will be several to choose from) and hack away!

Walton Yantis Walton Yantis directs the TSTC Waco Supercomputing Center. Walton has been a full-time member of the TSTC faculty in the CNS department since 2002. He is a graduate of the CNS program and President of the TSTC Alumni Association Board of Directors. Walton also serves as an advisor to the Alpha Omega Omega chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society. He has served as an advisor for the SkillsUSA Advance Technology student group and as a Faculty Senator. Ten students who are involved with the Cluster Computer projects will also be on-hand to show how the clusters work.
