ZaReason ZaReason, motivated by FOSS, the Maker movement, and tech recyclers like Alameda County Computer Resource Center in Berkeley, builds laptops with open hardware policies. That is, they allow users to swap out parts for self-motivated upgrades without voiding the laptop's warranty, thus extending the life of the laptop. Component suppliers surround their Berkeley-based mom-and-pop shop. They have a booming sense of adventure for global support structures.
