Jason Asbahr Monstrous Company
Jason's passion is building virtual worlds. Beginning in the early 90's, he developed virtual building walkthroughs for architects and crafted one of the first PC-based virtual actors for Compaq. Jason then went on to develop simulation infrastructure for Ultima Online 2 at Origin Systems in 1998. In 2002, he consulted for Kalisto USA, developing a Python-based scripting system for the Sony Playstation 2 and Nintendo Gamecube project, SpongeBob Squarepants. In 2003, Jason consulted on the development of two toys, a handheld music game and a RFID-based game. Jason co-founded Roxor Games, Inc., where he led the development of open-source based arcade systems, collaborated with RedOctane on their first published PS2 title, designed large scale tournaments, and managed remote product manufacturing in Korea and China. Jason's current experiment in capitalism is Monstrous Company, monstro.us
