Transport yourself in lace and time by making lace from long ago. Bobbin lace, a form of weaving, dates back to about 1350, while tatting, tying knots with shuttle and thread, goes back to Colonial times.

Austin Lacemakers Guild Austin Lacemakers Guild is a chartered organization of The International Old Lacers, Inc. active in the Austin area since 1984. It meets monthly on the first Tuesday evening at St. John's Episcopal Church at Braker and Parkfield. They invite a master lace teacher from either the US or Europe come to teach one of the many different styles of lacemaking at last once annually.
