About the Maker(s)
Weavers and Spinners Society of Austin (WSSA) The Weavers and Spinners Society of Austin (WSSA) was formed over 30 years ago. Expertise covers spinning with spindles and wheels; weaving traditional and exceedingly modern ways; felting natural fibers (their own wool, llama and alpaca) as well as modern fibers and found objects; knitting handspun yarns; dyeing with natural and chemical dyes; and beading, twining, braiding and tapestry.
