My name is Lodema and I have been a professional potter/artist for 38 years. I'm a graduate of San Diego college in Commercial Art. After working in the commercial art field for several years, I took a pottery class and started applying my knowledge and skill as an artist to clay. For almost 4 decades, I've been demonstrating how I make pottery at various historical fairs using a simple foot-powered wheel and my bare hands.
Lodema Epperson’s art is found in private collections across America, in Asia, and in Europe. Her renaissance covers the functional clay wares of everyday living while bringing art to clay.
