Dr. Bertini discusses how Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and other advanced technologies will transform roadway and vehicle safety in the 21st Century. His presentation will outline current RITA research, including vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications systems, and efforts to work with partners in government and industry to deploy ITS applications into the transportation system.
