SF Bay Area WindowFarmers is a collective of WindowFarmers in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. WindowFarms are vertical, hydroponic, modular, low-energy, high-yield edible window gardens built using low-impact or recycled local materials. Through a Research & DIY (R&DYI) participatory process, the WindowFarms community continues to evolve the WindowFarm design, making it easier for the next WindowFarmer to grow some of their own food year-round in their apartment windows.
