Maker Faire Bay Area 2010 Topic(s): Music

The ECC's VidiMasher 3000 with The Wheel Of Mashup!

Presenting here:

Location:   Fiesta Hall  325

Spin the wheel, make a mashup! The Evolution Control Committee invites you to make your very own musical mashup the easy way... just spin the Wheel! Two wheels actually; one lands on the music, one on the vocals. The two are mashed up on the spot with The ECC's Vidimasher 3000, an infra-red faux-touchscreen hacked from Nintendo Wii controllers that remixes music instantly and visually. Faster than a DJ, cooler than a laptop show, this is the short-attention span dance party you've been waiting for!

About the Maker(s)

TradeMark Gunderson

The Evolution Control Committee

Since 1986, The Evolution Control Committee has steadily built a worldwide reputation as one of the world's influential and leading mash-up bands, assembling samples and sounds into cut-and-paste masterpieces and assembling the technology to do it. But is it legal? Long before computers made it easy to be a copyright criminal, The ECC was violating copyright laws the hard way.
