About the Maker(s)

Nathan Seidle

Spark Fun Electronics is an emerging resource for the latest hard-to-source hardware and development boards for microcontrollers, Bluetooth, GPS, GSM cellular, sensor systems, and instructional resources. Spark Fun helps the students and researchers of the world to create proof-of-concept gadgets quickly and cheaply. Spark Fun Electronics is a small company experiencing explosive growth! SFE was started by a electrical engineering student in 2002 and has since sold to tens of thousands of customers in over 95 countries. With ~700 products currently available, new products are being listed daily. Our strongest products are our simplest ones. We specialize in bringing cutting edge technology in to the hands of developers. We have multiple breakout boards for accelerometer/gyro sensors, GPRS and GSM cellular modules, GPS receivers, as well as very large lines of development tools for ARM, MSP, MAXQ, AVR, and PIC microcontrollers. We currently offer a broad selection of 315-433MHz, 900MHz, and 2.4GHz RF transceivers and modems. Our target market continues to be students, professional, and hobbyists. We enjoy hearing about what our customers have created and encourage new customers through our large and friendly community forum.
