Maker Faire Bay Area 2009
Mediums to Masses

Location:   Cypress

Sarah combines her love of the material glass with that of textiles to create her unique line of fused glass jewelry and table-wares. Vintage textile patterns are hand silk-screened onto each glass piece using ground up glass enamel. The multiple step process is one developed by Sarah. The resulting works give the patterns a second life while creating a juxtaposition of vintage with modern. Due to the variations in the pattern and the hand-made aspect, each piece will have a unique appearance.
