Matthew Porter will be showcasing his paintings, prints and products all featuring his infamous monkey world illustrations. Matthew is a children's book illustator and writer. He currently has three books published with Vancouver, BC publishing house Simply Read Books. An aditional two books are in the works for release in 2009 and 2010. In addition his children's books Matthew co owns Bluebottle Art Gallery and Store in Seattle with his wife, Andrea.

Matthew Porter graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1997. Soon after he hopped on a plane and landed in America where he's been ever since. Matthew has dabbled with sideshow banners, Mexican wrestlers, giant robot cats, an animal alphabet, bird and blossoms images, and now his "Monkey World" series. He is co-owner of Bluebottle Art Gallery located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. He has had three children’s board books published with Simply Read Books. An additional three books and a wall calendar will be released within the next two years.
