Jill Kleinhans makes handmade greeting cards from her garage in Silver Lake, California. She employs the age-old technique of block printing. Starting with original designs, Jill then carves an individual block for each color. Every card is a lovingly crafted piece of art. Each card is hand-torn from large sheets of 100% cotton paper. All cards are paired with a bonus print on an eco-friendly envelope. Some cards are even embellished with a scratch-n-sniff scent!

While in art school, Jill K. and two partners opened a fun art gallery and art supply store in Lawrence, Kansas. The store served the local art community for four years. Jill then decided to pack up and move to Los Angeles to see what she could see. She has lived in LA for about three years and continues to love it. A year ago, Jill created a new business - Jill K. in LA. This handmade greeting card business is growing and keeps her on her toes.
