Giana González
Giana Pilar González is a panamanian multimedia artist-designer whose work explores de intersection of culture, fashion, design and technology. Her current focus is to explores the different ways in which fashion culture and design can be altered, fused and/or enhanced with technology and alternative processes - from concept, production, documentation and propagation. The results of these explorations manifest in a diversity of mediums ranging from participatory events and collaborations, web, video, physical objects, and live performance. Giana has worked in Architecture and design, Art, media related projects including the New York Fashion week. She has taught at Eyebeam and lectured at Pratt Institute. She is currently working on the Italian Hack, the second brainstorming session from Hacking-Couture.com. She is based in New York City.
