About the Maker(s)

Meredith Scheff-king Meredith Scheff is a welder, cartoonist, classic car nut, pyromaniac, take-things-aparter, old stuff lover, and general huge geek/mad scientist from San Francisco. She was a fabricator/cartoonist for the Neverwas Haul in
2006 and a welder for the Steampunk Treehouse in
2007. She now writes for Jake Von Slatt's
steampunkworkshop.com, busting knuckles on the
underside of her truck, building a home-made black-box, and figuring out newer, high-tech ways to be a silly person.
