About the Maker(s)

We are a family-owned certified organic mushroom farm specializing in medicinal mushrooms grown on a hardwood substrate. We grow eight varieties of mushrooms, the largest crop being Shiitake, and Tree Oyster. We market our mushrooms in farmers' markets in the bay area and in our mushroom shop "Far West Fungi-The San Francisco Mushroom Store" located in the Ferry Building in San Francisco.
