Lake Merritt Bonsai Garden [
My name is Gordon Deeg, and I'm the Director of the Lake Merritt Bonsai Garden, one of the best public bonsai gardens in the U.S. I have studied bonsai for more than 40 years, have studied in Japan, hold several certificates stating proficiency in various areas of bonsai culture. I teach and give demonstations through Northern California. I maintain a collection of over 300 bonsai.
